Every spring and summer, City Market brings together local vendors and farmers to hawk their wares. Visitors can also take part in discussions about community agriculture, watch craft and cooking demonstrations and enjoy activities for the kids. The market is also host to the third largest musical venue in Kansas City and has hosted 311, Jonny Lang, George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, among other artists. The market takes place just off the Heart of America Bridge, east of the Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park.
