Styled to represent places from Jules Verne's novel "Around the World in Eighty Days," including Scandinavia, the Orient, Europe and America, Worlds of Fun is an exciting, distinctive, amusement park with rides and activities suited to visitors of all ages. Rides range in intensity from the thrilling inverted Patriot roller coaster to the much calmer Wacky Worm ride, the 180-foot high RipCord sky flight to the Linus' Beetle Bugs miniature raceway. Take a break from the nonstop movement at one of the park's many live shows, which include acrobatic dog shows and performances of musical hits from previous decades. It is attached to the 60-acre Oceans of Fun waterpark, north of the Missouri River near the neighborhood of Winnwood.
