Appealing to the child in everyone, The Toy and Miniature Museum of Kansas City displays a wide variety of toys, dolls, dollhouses, and miniatures dating from the mid-19th century until today. Exhibits include impressive miniatures, such as an intricate replica of the Palace at Versailles; possibly the largest marble collection displayed in the world; and a showcase of over 100 antique dollhouses. The museum is housed inside a renovated, turn-of-the-century mansion, just a mile southeast of Country Club Plaza on the University of Missouri campus.
