A 35-acre outdoor education facility, Cave Spring Historic Site & Nature Center offers a selection of scenic hiking trails, an interpretive center and an array of educational programs to school children and visiting adults alike. The center offers pioneer and Native American skill demonstrations, as well as guided and self-guided hikes and rotating exhibits at the interpretive center. Cave Spring is located in southeast Kansas City, just minutes from Swope Park and Lakeside Nature Center.
