House of Heavilin Beauty Colleges are owned by House of Heavilin of Blue Springs, Inc. The colleges are operated by Cheri Barnett and Jerry Heavilin (sister and brother). Cheri and Jerry are active in the day to day operation of the schools and are both involved in state and national Cosmetology related organizations.The schools were founded by George and Dorothy Heavilin in 1953.
